For reference, I��m 5'4" and weigh 195 pounds. I ordered the purple 3X-Large. It��s very roomy on me, which I don��t mind, but the XX-Large probably would have been a better fit.This is a very nice coat and there��s a lot to like about it. First, the color is gorgeous, a rich shade of purple that I absolutely love.The outer material feels soft and silky, and the coat has a nice puffiness that I��m sure helps block the wind. It comes down to mid-thigh on me and closes in the front with both a zipper and snaps.There are two outer pockets with snaps that are a great size, they easily held my cell phone and a battery brick. There��s also an inner pocket up higher at chest level.Inside the coat, the upper half is lined with soft faux fur, and the hood has the same cozy lining. The hood also has a drawstring so you can pull it snug around your face, and it��s removable if you prefer it without. I am actively losing weight and didn��t want to spend a lot on a winter jacket this year as I��m hoping it won��t fit me next winter. ???? Living in Minnesota I��m all about layers so I still wanted enough room to wear a fleece or something beneath it when needed. I��m about 5��5��, 175 lbs and Amazon recommended the XL but knowing how that sometimes works I ordered both the XL and the L to see which fit better. I have wide shoulders and not a small chest by any means and not only does the Large fit quite well, it is almost bordering on too large if I wear just a tshirt alone beneath it. So, yeah, I would definitely say to size down on this one unless you plan to wear like 3 thick sweaters under it. lol I usually don��t like fur around my hoods as it gets in the way or caught on the strap of my crossbody bags when taking on and off, but thankfully the fur on this hood zips right off and leaves a fairly decent hood beneath that will still fit a beanie inside and tightens up nicely with a drawstring. The hood itself is also fully removable if I decide to ditch it altogether which I often do when wearing a scarf and thick beanie for outdoor activities like sledding or shoveling dreaded snow. Would I label it as a winter jacket? Not really, but again, I live in Minnesota where temps dipping down past zero is the norm, HOWEVER I am keeping it because I plan to layer and as I said I don��t want to spend much on a jacket I only plan to use for one season. If you live in a climate where winters are mild then yes, this could be a winter jacket for you, otherwise we cold weather folks call this a Fall/Spring jacket. (Hence my removing one star) So, for my purposes of saving money and with the intent of layering for warmth, this will do for one winter. The pockets have snaps which is great to keep gloves from falling out and getting lost, the hood is decent without the fur, and the snaps outside the zipper are nice to keep things snug and cold breezes out. It goes past my hips which is what I prefer these days and has a double zipper for when seated. I chose black in the hopes that it won��t stain as much as some lighter colors since we all know that rubbing up against dirty cars while scraping your windshield sux, and it��s a nice true black. All in all, it��s a solid purchase for the price I paid (was on sale) and it should do what I need it to until Spring if I don��t manage to tear it (it��s not the most durable feeling fabric but you get what you pay for and again, this was on sale.) ????

Material quality ok. Not thick but yet it is and personally for me this puffer is perfect because I plan to wear it layered when it becomes very cold and breez and I believe I will not have a zipper issue due to I chose to up a size. Length wise it does the job of covering the bum especially when sitting down during cold weather or when watching the kids play football or at a cold rink. So it's ok. As for how will it do during inclement weather and it has fur inside for extra warmth. I will definitely test this purple puffer jacket during wet weather! Only reason why I gave it 4 stars is because it is not a deep purple as pictured and I added the comparison so that you can see! Hope my review helps everyone.

I'm impressed! I'm in the Midwest and it was below freezing today. Lightweight and WARM! So warm in the car, I took it off.I should have bought both a large and extra large, but went with the reviews here. For reference I'm 5'8" and 170lbs and chest size 38 DDD. Most of the reviews stated the large would be roomy even for "chesty" gals. Well, not the case for me. It fits just right zipped up wearing a thinner sweater. No wiggle room. I'll keep this as it was a black Friday purcase, but I would definitely re order, just an XL. Love the furry inside and the hood is great. Highly recommend this jacket though!

I ordered the purple one, and it is the color shown on the website. I am 5��6��, 145 lb, and medium fits me perfectly. The zipper is smooth and easy. The inside is furry and warm. The length reaches 4.5 inches above the knee when my knee is bent. I included a pic of the coat next to my magenta pants and a blue ruler so you can see how the color of the coat compares.

Walked through a little bit of brush and brambles, with very little snagging or damage to outer fabric. Outer fabric is soft and comfortable, not stiff and overly noisy. So far,35�� worn with t shirt and was pretty warm . No problems with the zipper. No experience yet with soaking rain to check it's repellency.Can zip off ruff and zip off hood . Outer roomy pockets although not zippered, are upright and snap shut. There is no velcro . There is no brand name label on the front.

I got this coat for my daughter and I know shes gonna love it. This coat is so warm and cozy without feeling heavy. I love the length, it will definitely keep her warm and comfortable on really cold days. The material is like a puffer jacket, but much more subtle. Very soft to the touch and super warm. Has a two way zipper and buttons on the outside for extra protection. It looks really beautiful and the hood is soft and easy to use. Goes to about mid thigh, or just about above the knee and is true to size. Very happy with it, can't wait for winter!

I really have no complaints about this coat! I did size up to make sure I had enough room to comfortably zip up (nursing mom). Overall this is a comfortable winter coat! It��s not too heavy, but does keep you warm. It goes right above the knees, so if you like a longer coat you will like this! The hood is removable, it zips both ways, has fairly deep pockets, and is lightweight. I prefer the light weight material over a heavier coat because it can get too hot. I love how it��s fleece lined, has an adjustable hood, and the cuffed sleeves. Very comfortable coat!

I have other puffer jackets, and I like them, but I think this will be my favorite for really cold days. It's made to keep you toasty warm while keeping you comfortable, and it's also a stylish coat that fits. I'm 5'8", 119 pounds, and it fits me perfectly in a medium. The sleeves are just the right length, and the body is, too. It has a double zipper just inside the snap buttons in the front. Both the zipper and the buttons keep it together firmly to keep the heat in. I love the faux fur lined removable hood which attaches with a zipper, and the jacket itself is also lined in soft faux fur. When zipped all the way up, the neck is just the right size, not too tight or too loose so that you can still move your head comfortably. This puffer just has all the things you would look for in a nice every day winter coat, and it's available in several attractive colors. I chose the dark grey, and I like it, but the other colors are very appealing, especially that alluring purple! If you're in the market for a warm winter coat that's comfortable and attractive, I highly recommend this one!

I have always wanted a puffer jacket long enough to cover my backside. Living in Minnesota with our wind and harsh winters, this jacket will be great. Was impressed with the soft faux fur lined hood and deep pockets. I am a little concerned about the plastic zipper. Also, I��m not sure how waterproof this will be as the outer shell seems very thin. Time will tell. The look of the jacket is great. I purchased navy blue.
