We ordered this jacket in the lavender color for our daughter who has a lot of pink clothing, so the lavender is a nice change. The jacket has a very thick fur lining that will keep our daughter very warm (almost too warm) for winter in California. We have not tested the waterproofness of jacket but will be planning to use it when we do take our daughter out to play in the snow.The detachable hood is a nice option for washing and dryer as the dryer often times ruin the fur on most hoods. The cinched waisted gives the jacket a nice silhouette rather than a boxy look that are typical with winter coats.
Where to start? First, I find this jacket very attractive. The lavender color is exactly as shown online. The furry lining is very soft and the outer jacket will repel water, snow and wind. The length of the coat and sleeves seem a bit long to me, but I like that as it will probably fit a growing child for more than one year. The sleeves are lined and they have a stretchy wristband which will stay snug to prevent any weather from going up the arm. And on top of the wristband there is the outer fabric too so there is a double layer of protection. The pockets are deep and have a snap to keep them closed. The hood is a generous size. There is also elastic sewn into the waist area to make the silhouette more attractive. Finally, the snaps and zippers are nice quality hardware. I 100% recommend this.
Fits perfectly. Keeps person nice and warm and is very cozy and soft. And it looks smart.
